The British Society of Orthopaedic Anaesthetists are pleased to announce the opening of abstract submissions for their 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting which will take place at Rhodes House, Oxford on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th December.
Have you performed any research or audit, or do you have an interesting case report that you would be interested in presenting? This would be an ideal opportunity for your trainees to get involved.
Abstracts will be reviewed and those awarded high scores will be chosen for presentation (oral or poster). The highest scoring abstracts will be selected for oral presentation with prizes for the best presentation and runner up.
There will be a prize for the best poster.
By submitting this abstract, I confirm that the appropriate ethical approval has been obtained and that written informed consent has been obtained from research subjects, and written consent for publication from patients where required
Abstract deadline is: Sunday 18th October 2026.

Rhodes House does not have visitor car parking, and many Oxford streets are closed to traffic. Parking is extremely limited and expensive. Visitors are encouraged to use the Park and Rise bus services or taxis. For information on car parks see Oxfordshire County Council's website

Oxford Railway Station is a 20-25 minute walk away from Rhodes House. Please use Google Maps to find your way from the station to Rhodes House.
